Since the age of 12, Anthony Costulas has seen rock band Motion City Soundtrack in concert 13 times. Last night marked concert number 14. This concert however, was a little bit different than most. ? The band's singer/songwriter, Justin Pierre, held a free acoustic performance in the Lawrence Hall lobby last night for a crowd of about 60 Point Park University students, all thanks to Twitter and Costulas' persistence.
A few friends from my native state of Kentucky visited here a couple weeks back to see what the Steel City had to offer for entertainment. In the three days they spent here, we saw comedy shows, cheered at the University of Pittsburgh homecoming football game and explored the vibrant South Side night life.
I think college students should be allowed to express themselves, and if they choose to let the clothes that they are wearing speak for them, then they should apply the rule that states that you should think before you speak. Basically, I am trying to say that I think college students should consider how what they wear will affect others.
